The Far Side Of The Moon

A mysterious question of a secret hidden, on the far side of the moon

Pink cotton candy clouds
Floating animal shapes
Fading mysteriously away
Into the rising of the full moon

A vision for romantic lovers
To sigh and dream about
Bringing hearts far apart
Close together again

Alone now, counting down
The last years of my life
I envision a different mystery
My imaginings claim title to

The far side of the moon
A sight unseen by earthly eyes
Its mountainous crags face
Heavens eternity with calm

Time here relinquished its war
With ever changing seconds alarm
Unseen silence remains supreme
And in the quiet I commune

With the mystery of a future
Where the breath of my life
Exists only in a lost memory
Captured by the far side of the moon

With the mystery of a future
Where the breath of my life
Exists only in a fading memory
Caught by the far side of the moon

Echoing out silently into the universe
