mutter; the way someone speaks when they feel unheard or unseen. |
|
I feel as if people mumble when they feel unheard, Silent, yet loud words seep through. Unimportant, yet meaningful thoughts escaping the mind of such a popular, yet unknown person. The head of someone so agreeable, yet so unique. Someone so soft, yet their mind is rough. Someone so loud, yet quiet. In their mind, they may be nothing more than a speck of dust, nothing more than a mutter in the rain. To them, they may be pushed so far gone, while appearing closer than anyone else. In their mind, a mind who dreams, seeks, and hopes, is an endless field of gray flowers. An endless field of what is never watered, and never heard. Unseen, Like a mutter in the rain. To most, a mutter may seem controllable, but to a seeker, a silenced, it is all they can get out. A mutter, a mumble, every word is a struggle. I feel as if people mumble when they feel unheard. As if they slowly distance themselves when they feel unseen, As if they're a mutter in the rain. But even as a mumbler, the mind so full with flowers and nourishment must be watered. It must be heard, It must be seen. People mumble when they feel unheard, A mutter in the rain. |
