What’s worth fighting for

Some men fight for freedom
Some men fight for gold
Some men fight for justice
Others just because they’re told

Some men fight for ideology
Some men don’t fight at all
Some men fight to clear their names
Others just answer the call

But when it really comes to fighting
There’s working lads like me
I’ll fight any sod who takes
My simple pleasures off of me.

So I’ll fight for old John Jameson
Or if my back is to the wall
Better odds and faster horses
Nicotine an' alcohol.
